Chapter Philanthropy
Nationally, Kappa Kappa Gamma devotes its philanthropic efforts to multiple organizations. It is important for members to be able to support causes that are important to them! Every chapter divides all philanthropic funds into three equal parts, benefitting a local organization of their choosing, our national philanthropy supporting mental health and well-being, and the Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation.
National Philanthropy
Each chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma has the opportunity to choose a mental health and well-being organization to support. Epsilon Beta Kappa has chosen the JED Foundation, as our members resonate with their purpose of protecting emotional health and preventing teen and young adult suicide.
Local Philanthropy
Epsilon Beta is very passionate about helping local organizations! Our chapter gives to where we see the Fort Collins community needs our help most. We love that we have the ability to support multiple organizations, especially ones in our community!
Since 2016, Epsilon Beta Kappa has raised money for the Catie Abeyta Scholarship Fund. Catie Abeyta was an Epsilon Beta Kappa that passed away in 2016. Catie impacted so many people across the CSU community and throughout her entire life, so we give back in her memory to the scholarship fund created in her name. The scholarship is geared towards helping CSU students who have found their passion here at college and need assistance pursuing their dream. This is something that Catie found here, and we would love to see her legacy be put forth towards that!
